MLVN LECCINO Tuscan olive variety, but very common in Istria and throughout the world due to its special adaptability to different agro-ecological conditions. In the summer months it easily tolerates drought, and in winter temperatures it tolerates low temperatures down to -10 °C without major damage. The oil is fresh on the nose, the smell of freshly cut grass is irresistible, pronounced rounded fruitiness, the smell of green apple. Mild bitterness and pleasantly pronounced spiciness. In the mouth, the taste of green banana is accompanied by a pleasantly lasting “aftertaste”. Recommended pairing: with grilled Adriatic squid, blue fish.
